Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is a week-long leadership development programme for 18-24 year-old participants, hosted and sponsored by Rotary Clubs. RYLA is an experiential live-in high energy programme designed to help young people develop their team work and communication skills and fulfil their potential as leaders.
Most events focus on university students, or young professionals and include presentations, activities, and workshops that cover a variety of topics, including:
- Leadership fundamentals and ethics
- Communication skills
- Problem solving and conflict management
- Community and global citizenship
How can you participate in RYLA?
RYLA 2016 will be held 27-31 January 2016 at the Silverstream Retreat, Hutt Valley Rd., Silverstream, Lower Hutt.
